HTC Desire Available on Pre-Order

HTC’s latest flagship smartphone, the Desire, is now available to pre-order from the Carphone Warehouse in the UK ahead of it’s April release.
The HTC Desire is essentially a Nexus One “with a cherry on-top”, but boy what a cherry! After an initial hands-on at Mobile World Congress we were impressed with it’s super-bright AMOLED screen, super-slick optical trackpad and slender curves.
Contracts for the HTC Desire start at £25, which covers 900 Anytime minutes, 500 texts and infinite landline calls, however you’ll have to stump up a hefty £129.99 to start with, and that still won’t include unlimited internet. For that, you’ll have to pay another £5 per month.
However we’re not fans of paying upfront for a mobile, so after some routing around found some more attractive HTC Desire deals, with both lower price tags and lower monthly costs at Mobiles.co.uk.
It just goes to show…. the big names don’t always have the big deals!
