Motorola XT701 heading to Korea and U.S. markets as MOTOROI

China may be the first country to get their hands on the Motorola XT701, but Korea and the U.S. markets will be seeing their own versions of the handset soon enough. The Korean iteration of the Android 2.0 powered phone will be named MOTOROI and cold launch next month. A U.S. version is also in the works and may be available in March. No naming details yet on the U.S. version of the XT701, but I’m sure MOTOROI would work just fine. The MOTOROI features a 3.7 inch WVGA display, 8MP camera with Xenon flash, 720p video capture, HDMI out, and a slight hint of Moto BLUR. If you’re lucky enough to live in Korea, the MOTOROI will feature T-DMB television tuning and multi-touch. It would be nice to see those features on the U.S. bound version as well, but don’t hold your breath.
