Sprint’s CDMA HTC Hero gets rooted
If you are the proud owner of the new Sprint HTC Hero, today is your lucky day. The Sprint Hero has just been rooted! The handset has been on the market for just over a month, but the guys over at xda-developers have been able to hack into the system and find their way into the root directory of the Android phone. For now, there’s not much that can be done with a rooted Sprint Hero. Developers can now start working on creating customer ROMs for the phone which should allow Hero phones to do everything other rooted Android phones do.
