Adobe launches Photoshop.com app for Android

There are quite a few people out there who still question if Android is a viable development platform. We keep hearing that the iPhone will always prevail for developers, but every day we see more and more established brands creating apps for Android. Late last week, Adobe launched Photoshop.com Mobile app for Android. Adobe’s Photoshop.com service allows users to upload up to 2GB of images to the site and them gives you some powerful editing tools so that your pictures will look their best. The new Android Photoshop app allows you to easily edit the images on your phone, browse your online galleries, and upload your pictures to your account. With a name like Photoshop you might expect something revolutionary, but the truth is that they are a bit late to the game. There are already a dozen or so apps on the Android Market that do the exact same thing as the Photoshop Mobile app.
If you don’t have any image editing apps on your Android phone, Photoshop Mobile is a good app to start with. Hopefully, Adobe will be adding some new features in the upcoming months that will make this app more of a game changes for mobile image editing.
