HTC set to launch new DROID ERIS on Verizon network for U.S. Market

DROID ERID
The new Android powered HTC DROID Eris is set to launch on Verizon Wireless tomorrow for only $99.99 with a new two year contract.  The low price point for the Eris will make it the cheapest Android phone to launch in the United States.  The CDMA variant of the HTC Hero features a new external shell, but that’s pretty much it.  Fortunately, those who live in Europe have been able to get the HTC Hero for free with new contracts for a few months already.  We have the full specs rundown on the new DROID Eris after the break.
